Family Fun Night

Hollywood came to Hillbrook! The school hosted a movie-themed Family Fun Night. There were kids dressed as Harry Potter every where you turned. Of course our favorite was the athletic field turned into an old Western...because they had pony rides!

I had to throw this in here. About a week & a half before school started a nasty virus ran through our house. Luke was the first to get it. While he was passed out on our bed Madison cut out pictures of Halloween costumes she thought he might like. Then she laid them out in from of him so that he could choose his favorite when he woke up. Such a sweet big sister :-)

Being an independent school, Hillbrook doesn't have "Chapel" but they do gather the school together every Monday morning for "Flag". Ryan & Luke at the 1st Flag of the year...

We are looking forward to a great year!

New Family Hike

The kid's new school, Hillbrook, has been great about making new families feel welcome. They organized a few events to introduce us to other new families as well as some veteran ones. One of our favorite events was the new family hike...

Madison & Karly...fun fact, these two went to their first year of preschool together! Karly then moved to Hawaii for a bit & when her family moved back they ended up at the same independent school...
