Easter Bunny

I almost forgot to post the picture from our visit with the Easter Bunny this year! The first time both kid's were excited to see him...

Hide & Seek

Mike took the kids to a restaurant that didn't have crayons & so they played hide & seek instead. He emailed me these cute pictures...definitely brightened my Saturday during tax season...

Equestrians

Luke loves horses! Who knew? Every time the kids had the opportunity to get on a pony he refused. Now that Madison is taking riding lessons he has been really excited about it. While Maddie is in class we have been renting a pony & taking a stroll around the farm. Luke on Pumpkin...

Last week for her lesson Madison was SUPER excited to get Shamrock...because he is white. She rode by me & quickly said, "Mommy! Take a picture!"

Los Gatos Fire Station

Luke-man's class had the chance to visit a local fire station & I got to tag along! It was a gorgeous day out & we were able to walk from the school. Ms. Kathy testing listening skills before we head out...

Easter

It was so nice to have Easter land after April 15th! I actually got to enjoy it this year. We started off the festivities off with a little egg decorating...

Easter morning arrived & look! The Easter Bunny was here!!

NinjaGo Lego's...what could be better?

Tangled! The Easter Bunny must have ears everywhere. Maddie saw it in Target & wished out loud that he would put it in her basket :-)

On to the Easter egg hunt. Luke, look to your left!

Moo Shoo doing her best to help out

Handsome little man!

Thanks Easter Bunny! With the bubble guns that you put in our Easter baskets we gave the outdoor toy box a bubble bath...

Family

These are just a couple of random occasion pictures that I took spending time with the family...
Snuggling with our Bagga

Lego's with Daddy. It was so cute, I walked into Luke's room & all 3 of them were at the play table diligently working away :-)

I ATE A VEGETABLE!!!!!

This blog post is dedicated to Luke & a truly momentous occasion...he ate a vegetable! He has decided that he likes salad & the other night I got him to eat a full bowl of peas. I won't lie...the prospect of getting new Star Wars Lego's might have done something to encourage him. The other night I was making chicken and he said, "No Mommy, I said I wanted salad." I never thought we'd get here!

And because she has liked vegetables from the start (thanks Moe!)...Maddie deserves a "yippee" picture :-)

Happy 6th Birthday Madison!

Our Maddie-Moe is 6-years-old!!! It seems like just yesterday we were bringing our little muffin home from the hospital. Birthday treat of choice? Donuts, of course!

Happy Birthday to our sweet little girl!!!

Oakland Zoo

At the beginning of the month Madison's class took a field trip to the Oakland Zoo. Needless to say the kids had a fantastic time seeing all of the exotic (if slightly repressed) animals. Unfortunately I took more pictures of said animals that the kids but there are a few cute ones of Madison...

The best part about the giraffes was that they would wrap their necks around one another in a nuzzle :-)

The lions wanted nothing to do with us. The picture is blurry because it was taken at such a distance.
