Father's Day @ St. Andrew's

Madison's class incorporated a little Father's Day celebration into their last day. They sang a few songs for the Daddies. This one is so precious, I love Maddie's facial expressions!

Luke's Last Day of School

Luke's school had a fantastic idea for their End of the Year party...a petting zoo! Our kids, as animal lovers, were so happy :-)

Madison's Last Days of School

Wednesday was Madison's last day of school & on Tuesday we had her End of the Year Party. The Papapietro family was gracious enough to host & they have a stunning home in Saratoga - complete with pool & hot tub. Funny thing was all 20 kids tried to cram into the hot tub! No need for an enormous pool when you can practically be sitting on top of one another, right? :-)

Wednesday the class had a little Graduation ceremony & the kids sang a few songs

On the last day of school St. Andrew's holds chapel & performs a very sweet "Moving Up" ceremony. The 8th graders vacate their pews & then each grade moves up a row. Then the graduating 8th graders escort the Pre-K students into their new Kindergarten chairs. It was very sweet. The Pre-K class on their way out of chapel (I wasn't in position to get a good picture of them being escorted in)...

Austin, TX - The Salt Lick

Friday night in Austin we went to their famous BBQ joint - The Salt Lick. It was fantastic food but what I loved the most was the ambiance! Rustic stone walls, picnic tables all surrounded by a vineyard & dozens of pecan trees. I wish I had a reason to host a party there :-) The restaurant is in a dry county so it's BYOB & every group that came in was towing a cooler behind them (including us). Classic.

The boys...Luke Allen, Matthew & Luke Peterson (missing Dylan)

Austin, TX - Barton Springs

One of the days we were in Austin we went to local "pool" - Barton Springs. It is actually a spring fed portion of Barton Creek that has been damned. The park also had a train that we tried out first...
