Birthday Girl!

This post is LONG overdue (apologies to Maddie)...on April 9th our sweet baby girl turned 5-years-old!!! How did that happen so quickly?
The birthday girl

We started the morning off with a little present opening...Princess Aurora stickers to adorn her walls (as requested)...

She was very excited about her "Snuggimals"

Cupcakes are good for breakfast, right?

Madison was very generous with her birthday, she wanted Luke to have a candle in his cupcake too
Happy Birthday Maddie Moe!!!
Status update: We measure the kids every birthday & since Luke's 3rd 6 months ago both kids have grown 2 inches (Madison @ 46" & Luke @ 42"). We were so excited that Mike's Dad still had his growth chart from when he & Aunt Jane were growing up. Luke is an inch taller than Mike was at this age! We knew he was going to be tall but he's on course to be even taller than his Daddy. Hard to imagine my sweet little guy being over 3'5" let alone 6'5" :-)

A couple of cute pics of our little bunnies from Easter dinner...

Easter Egg Hunt

Our Easter Egg hunt this year was small & quick (I had to head into work) but the kids still had a great time. Next year Easter is after April 15th so we'll have to have a huge egg hunt!

Nice hair Maddie Moe :-)

Easter Bunny!

He was here! The Easter Bunny was here!!

The Easter Bunny was very generous this year & brought Madison a pink & white puppy to snuggle

He absolutely made Luke's year when he delivered on a request for a light saber

Luke needed someone to spar with (& who better than his sister) so Madison got a light saber as well

Luke has the form down

Let's see what's in these little eggs...

The Easter Bunny must know what an animal lover Madison is because he brought her a new kitty shirt

After "Christmas Light" - as Daddy called it, was over we headed outside to hunt for Easter eggs...

Easter Egg Coloring

We have a ton of post-tax season blog posts to attend to. We'll start off with some Easter egg dyeing...

I think Easter may be Madison's favorite holiday. She's been talking about dyeing Easter eggs all year & was so excited when the time finally came...

Luke was the first to start experimenting with multiple colors

Post-bath & ready to apply stickers to our dry eggs - Luke's were Star Wars (of course)

Madison's eggs were outfitted in Hello Kitty

Off to bed hoping that the Easter Bunny comes!!!
