The Future of Stanford Baseball

Luke has always been fascinated by sports of any kind but lately he has really been loving baseball. The other day he was demonstrating his pitching skills...

We don't know if this is wishful thinking or what but...more than likely Luke is left handed. A couple of days after Mike took this video we got the kids baseball gloves. Luke kept putting his on his right hand so he could throw with his left! Mike remedied the situation & ordered him a little left-hander's glove & he seems to be much happier :-)

A Day at the Beach

My girlfriend Heidi & I decided to take the kids to the beach last Wednesday. Luke is in music class Wednesday mornings with Heidi's boys, Thomas & Theo. Madison ditched school & came to music class with us so we could head for the beach early. The kids were so excited all morning. Madison had an amazing time digging for sand crabs & dipping her toes in the ocean. Because it was Santa Cruz the water was freezing so no one went for a full swim. Poor Luke didn't really enjoy himself. He was fine until we came up over a small dune & he saw the huge waves crashing on the beach. He cried for an hour asking me if we could go home. Poor little man wouldn't go near the water all day! We'll have to send him to summer camp @ Uncle Jason & Aunt Jill's :-)

Despite the chilly wind it was a beautiful day

Luke finally detached himself from me & played with Thomas' dump truck

Look at all those little sand crabs!

This is as close as Luke got to the water all day (he couldn't resist looking in on the sand crabs :-)

Despite the slow start it was a fun day for the kids. Madison asked if we could go back after naps. We're not quite that close Maddie :-)

Belated Mother's Day

Last night we went over to Bagga Judy & Grandpa Silly's house to celebrate Mother's Day with them. Here we are at present opening time & yes, our kids are topless. Madison decided that her dress was hindering her play & Luke felt that if his sister would be without a shirt then he should be too.

It's Luke-man!

Hugs all around

We love you Bagga! Happy Mother's Day!!

Mother's Day Brunch

Deja vu...we played on this ramp at the same time last year. We loved the Mother's Day Brunch @ Blue Agave in Pleasanton so much we decided to take Bagga Jan back there this year. It did not disappoint!

Mother's Day Tea @ Grace

Madison's preschool hosted a Mother's Day Tea on Friday. Best part was watching the kid's faces when they tasted the tea :-) Needless to say most of them opted for lemonade after the first sip!

Luke sat at the table with the big kids. This little guy is so ready for preschool!

The Future of SFHS

Last week we had the chance to get together with my high school girlfriends & their kids. Quite a few of them will probably be in the same class at St. Francis in 10 years!
Wyatt, Thomas, Madison & Tatum (class of 2023) & Sawyer (class of 2025 - with Luke)

BBQ @ The Ditty's

We love the fact that the Ditty's are home! After a brief stint in Tiburon we have them back in Willow Glen. We celebrated their homecoming with a barbecue at their house (Temple family included). It will be so nice to do this whenever we want in the future!
Bryden was a fabulous host & shared his toys freely

Madison & Reese may be 2 & 1/2 years apart but that didn't stop them from having so much fun together!
