Naughty & Nice

Daddy & Bagga Glen took the kids to breakfast Saturday morning & apparently Luke was being a little stubborn :-) Mike sent me some indicative pictures from his phone...

Uncle Jason is Here!

Uncle Jason is home for a visit & of course the kids are ecstatic. One of the first things they wanted to do was "be fish" (Uncle Jason holds them up by their ankles like the catch of the day.) We can't believe they remembered that from Christmas! Madison definitely inherited her Daddy's memory (thank God!)

Luke Brooks Turns One!

Luke Brooks turned one-year-old & true to form his Mommy, Barb, threw an amazing party! It was a Circus theme complete with a face-painting clown :-)

I couldn't get Luke to stand still for very many pictures but here he is headed back to the water table

Thoroughly enjoying himself

Thanks for a fantastic party Brooks Family!
On another note...congratulations to Madison Maurine! We just found out this week that Maddie was accepted to Saint Andrew's School. We are so excited...this is where Maddie will be through the 8th grade & if Luke continues to prove to be an upstanding citizen, he will too :-) Congratulations Moe!

Taco Night

We all decided that we needed to take advantage of the fact that we currently live 2 blocks from Bagga Judy & Grandpa Silly so we have recommitted to Sunday Night Dinners. This past Sunday was taco night! The kids (Grandpa Silly included) were restless after a short time & retreated to the family room to wrestle. We caught them after the match.

Luke-man still a little wound up

I have to post a random story because I will never remember to tell Madison in 20 years. We were getting the kids ready for bed & I was doing my usual OCD check...putting each toy back in it's proper place, checking under the bed & dressers for errant toys. Madison looks at me & says, "Mommy, I think you might be a little bit crazy." Yes sweetheart, I think I am. Ask any roommate I've ever had! I'm a little ashamed that my 3-year-old has already noticed :-)

Playdate with Christopher

Madison's friend at school (Natalie) has a little brother only a week older than Luke so we were very excited when Natalie's Mommy invited us over for playdate while the girls were at school...thanks Margaret!

Is there a better way to spend a morning than throwing rocks off a bridge?
Snack time!

Climbing the Walls

Tax season is here again so blog posts are going to be few & far between while I moonlight as an accountant. During last week's rain I did have the chance to bring out the camera. Madison & Luke were climbing the walls (well, actually the furniture) so we found some fun in that I would take pictures of them & then they would run over immediately to see the results. I can't believe they'll never feel the anticipation of having film developed!

Hey ladies

Another fun rainy day task? Reorganizing the basement! Madison was very excited to find the box of Halloween costume & promptly put on her butterfly outfit.
