Disneyland - Getting there

We went to Disneyland! Netflix sent Daddy to the LA Film Festival so we all decided to tag along & make a stop at Disneyland while we were in the area. We have a TON of pictures so a warning to those of you who get automatic blog updates...you are about to be inundated with them... :-)

Road trip! Yes, we drove. We had a challenging experience recently flying the two of us toddlers to New Orleans so we decided to drive this time around. We are so excited! We have no idea what Disneyland is but we can't help screaming with excitement!

Mommy & Daddy made the large mistake of not bringing our strollers but renting them at the park. Well...you can't take the strollers from the parks to the hotels! We made it about 100 yards from the hotel before Luke needed to hitch a ride on Daddy. Not because he was tired but because those little legs just don't move as quickly as we needed them to :-) (They're on the left.)

Mommy feels bad that it seems like Madison gets more face time on the blog than little Luke but we think that's just because Madison is doing so many big kid things lately. Luke-man has really been growing up rapidly too! He's talking so much more. He's starting to string 2 & 3 words together & he's very inquisitive (he's always asking Mommy "what you doing?" :-) He can spot an airplane in the sky no matter how far away it is & gets so excited every time he does. He's obsessed with cars, truck, & balls of any shape or size & seems to have already developed a talent for basketball...at least according to Daddy. He just an all around perfect little boy! (That's Mommy's opinion anyway :-)

Happy Father's Day!

Our Father's Day had its highs & lows. Our Bagga Glen was laid up at home with a stiff neck so we were so sad that we didn't get to see him. Late afternoon Daddy was struck down by a fever & is still in bed! Grandpa Silly was still available to celebrate with us...

Sesame Street Live

Saturday was our friend Abby's 1st Birthday party! Her Mommy & Daddy threw her an Abby Cadabby themed birthday party & before the festivities we all went to the Sesame Street Live show in downtown San Jose. It was so fun!

Madison's friend from school, Michael, just got a new water slide & invited the class over on Friday for some swimming! The water slide was a little large/scary for the two girls (Madison & Aly) & Luke but they had a great time anyway :-)

Madison's Last Day of School

It's official! Madison has her first year of school under her belt. Last Thursday the school had an end-of-the-year picnic to celebrate...

During the last heat wave our friend Paige invited us over for a little swim in her new pool! We had a fabulous time!!

May was a busy month & most of our pictures have been posted but we still have a few cute ones left! (The links to the rest are on the left...as usual. The New Orleans & Mississippi picture link is there as well :-)

Madison's first movie on the big screen!!! Our sweet little Luke battled a throat infection for the last week of May. That weekend Daddy decided to take Madison to a movie to get her out of the house for a little fun! They saw the new Dr. Seuss...Horton Hears a Who. They had such a great time!

Maddie loves popcorn! But then again, who doesn't?! Hope you can see the photos...Daddy sent them from his Blackberry...

The weekend after poor little Luke's illness we still had to lay low Saturday but Sunday we were able to spend a little time at the park! The monkeys on the swings...

It was nice to see a smile on this little guy's face after a week of 102+ temps.

Extra Fun Wednesday

We had a fabulous Wednesday! We started off with Madison at swim lessons (which she always loves...Luke loves running the field right next to the pool :-) Then we headed to the Children's Discovery Museum with our friends Paige & Auntie Dara. Home for naps & then over to Paige's for happy hour & pizza with our new friend Zachary...just a great day all around!!

After taking nice, long naps we headed over to Paige's for happy hour (wine for Mommy, juice boxes for us :-)

Welcome to the world little Zachary!!! Mommy & Daddy's good friends Brady (Brennan) & Vince Otoupal had a sweet little boy, Zachary, about 5 weeks ago. He is so precious! We are excited to have a new friend :-)
