The Playhouse

For Madison's 3rd Birthday all of her Grandparents (Baggas) chipped in & bought her a beautiful cedar playhouse for the backyard. Daddy had a "honey-do" list a mile long but luckily Uncle Jason was here to step in & build the playhouse. 25+ years ago he played second-in-command while Grandpa Silly built a playhouse for Mommy...

Just so you know...the scary looking Urban Cowboy guy is Grandpa Silly, the little girl in the yellow hippy dress is Mommy, & the little blond fat baby is the now 6'3", thin, brown haired Uncle Jason :-)

Final, Final Birthday Dinner

Because Uncle Jason & Aunt Jill had to get on a plane back to La Jolla late Sunday (boo!) we had one last birthday dinner at Pasta? with Gigou, Jerry & the whole Luker-Allen family...
Luke felt the need to smash each pea with his spoon before he ate it :-)

Tiramisu for a 3-year-old's birthday??? She got into it after she saw how much the adults liked it :-)


I brought my new cell phone to dinner. While I know it's rude to talk on the phone at the table, I just can't help how popular I am! It was Paige, by the way. It usually is.

Madison's 3rd Birthday Party

This past Sunday the "Madison's Birthday Month" continued & we had a party for her & all of her friends & family. We had it at Pump It Up...a great place for the kids to go crazy. I think most of the kids had a great time. The birthday girl...not so much. It could have been the lack of a nap the day before or being overwhelmed by the 40+ people there to celebrate her but sweet little Madison was not her happy self. Hence, we don't have many pictures of her bouncing...

Birthday Dinner

After a day full of a playgroup birthday party & then a long nap, the birthday girl headed to dinner @ Buca di Beppo with Baggas Glen, Jan & Judy (poor Grandpa Silly was still stuck at the office :-(

Bagga Judy brought me some princess dress up stuff! Watch out, future husband, I am loving the jewelry!





After a ton of spaghetti & bruschetta (the only veggie I love is tomatoes...go figure) everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to me!

Back home for more present opening. Luke got a hold of my Sesame Street fashion plates.

Someone may be getting a little over tired...

Madison's 3rd Birthday!!!

We can't believe it but Wednesday April 9th our sweet little girl turned 3 years old! Happy Birthday Maddie Monkey!!!

Now the real fun begins! Some of our friends came over for a morning birthday party...and brought presents! Elizabeth & Lauren brought this water activity table which was a huge hit. Madison & Luke were soaked head to toe in about 5 minutes...
